Converted from an old wool store built C1740 and the building has had many incarnations until being converted to the bed and breakfast and living accommodation.
Starting as a wool store for the river barges and the local mill next door the building was then changed into a granary and then at the turn of the century after the Constable family sold it, it was then converted into a steam mill and by 1900 it was a Macaroni factory.
Converted to a family home with 2 bed and breakfast rooms approximately 25 years ago the bed and breakfast has been managed and owned by Derek and Margery for the last 20 years.
